Jotter

Terms of Use

Effective July 15, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Jotter app and joinjotter.com. By using Jotter you agree to them. Jotter is also distributed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms.

The service

Jotter is a personal memory tool: you write notes about people you meet, and Jotter organizes them into files, cheat sheets, and message suggestions using AI. AI-generated content can be imperfect — Jotter is designed to record only what you tell it, but you are responsible for reviewing anything it produces before you rely on it or send it to anyone.

Acceptable use

Jotter is for personal thoughtfulness — remembering the people in your own life. You agree not to use it to harass, stalk, deceive, or manipulate anyone; not to compile information about people for commercial resale; and not to violate any law, including privacy laws that may apply to notes you keep about others in your jurisdiction.

Your content

Your notes belong to you. We claim no ownership of anything you write; we process it solely to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

Termination

You can stop using Jotter and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

Disclaimers

Jotter is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
